Oreos have always touted that they are “America’s favorite cookie” or “Milk’s favorite cookie.” I hate to break it to you, but it has always been my least favorite cookie. I don’t completely dislike them, it’s just not been a staple in my pantry/ junk food cabinet. I’m opposite than most, I prefer the actual cookie over the cream inside.
I adore strawberry flavored products and these strawberry Oreos caught my attention. I thought, why not? Let’s try them out!
Packaging: Standard Nabisco Oreo logo in English and in Korean. Although in Korean, it’s pronounced “Oh-Ray-Oh.” It came in a small snack sized box with 2 wrapped packages inside. Each wrapper had 5 cookies inside.
Scent: The scent was amazing! I could immediately smell the fragrant and sweet strawberries.
Price: 1000 won/ $.85
Texture: These were as would expect with typical Oreos. Crispy and crunchy chocolate cookies sandwich between a creamy/ soft filling.
Taste: This is where things get good and interesting. Same crispy chocolate cookies but the cream filling was something else. The strawberry cream was sweet, slightly tangy and oh so good! This was a perfect combination and paired so well together.
